Remote Product Owner – Sim Local Ireland

We are the global leader in travel SIM card and eSIM retail. SIM Local is one of the world’s largest mobile connectivity providers in the travel sector with offices in Dublin, London, and New York.

Job Summary:

The B2B product owner (PO) is at the heart of our B2B team, responsible for onboarding process of B2B partners to our SIM sale while label multichannel SaaS platform called UNITE. The PO is also responsible to steer the development of our API channel. The PO defines product requirements, prioritizes features and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and maximized value from our UNITE SaaS platform

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize the onboarding process for B2B partners, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify and attract potential B2B partners.
  • Provide demonstration, training and support materials to ensure successful partner integration
  • Define and communicate the API channel vision and goals to the dev team and stakeholders.
  • Create, prioritize, and continuously refine the team’s backlog.
  • Break down high-level requirements into user stories and define acceptance criteria.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and feedback, incorporating them into product backlog items when appropriate.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the team

  • API Product Backlog Management: Create, and continuously refine the API product backlog.
  • Client onboarding: Maintain and communicate the onboarding schedule to the dev team and stakeholders.
  • Team Engagement: Work closely with clients and the development team to clarify requirements, eliminate obstacles, and ensure clients are onboarded as envisioned.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure features and functions are tested and meet acceptance criteria.

What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field.
  • Experience in product management, especially with SaaS platform.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Ability to understand and interpret user needs into product features.
