Role Description
- As the Project Manager, you will collaborate with various teams to implement their design, build and service solutions for the rail industry, ensuring delivery, stakeholder engagement, and project governance.
Responsibilities
- Safe project delivery to specified objectives, adhering to the Business Management System
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee procurement, subcontracting, and contract management.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to meet customer needs
- Oversee system integration and ensure supply chain efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Ensure the project adheres to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare Project Management Reporting Packs
- Provide KPI metrics
- Create and maintain Project WBS structures
- Monitor project Milestone delivery
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage projects including interfacing and reporting to clients, monitoring and managing budget
- and schedules, and general project coordination
- Overview and provide leadership on technical design and deliverable requirements
- Plan, organize and work with technical groups in the delivery of rail engineering project requirements
- including the provision of technical support to designers
- Provide support to business development and strategic initiatives, including preparation of proposals
