Grants Specialist – Vetsark

Vetsark is an agribusiness based in Lagos, Nigeria. We support farmers with access to raw material financing, training and resources to become profitable.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Grants Specialist located in Ajah, Lekki, Nigeria. The Grants Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating grant applications, including conducting research, writing proposals, and communicating with grantors. The Grants Specialist will also be responsible for managing operations activities, implementation, monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in proposal writing, project management and grant management
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with budgets, visual presentations and financial reports
• Experience in conducting research, monitoring and evaluation
• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or related field is preferred
• Experience working in the social enterprise, corporate and nonprofit sector is a plus
• Experience in grant writing for international organizations is a plus
• Experience working with financial donors, funding agencies and private foundations is a plus
