UWC International is a UK-registered charity, and is situated at the heart of the UWC movement. Located in central London and Berlin, the UWC International Office collaborates closely with all stakeholders from across the UWC movement, engages the UWC alumni community of more than 60,000 members and serves UWC International’s governance bodies.

Climate change is the defining challenge of our time. We have all experienced its impact to some degree, but we know that the most significant fallout of climate change will unfairly and disproportionately affect future generations. As educators, we have a moral imperative to prepare young people for what lies ahead. And that is why sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at UWC. Our mission to make education a force for peace and sustainability calls us to lead the way as we equip students with the skills, knowledge and applied experiences to become ambitious, resourceful and inspiring changemakers.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion
Creating an inclusive, equitable and intentionally diverse community is at the heart of the UWC experience. Young people from all corners of the world and different social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds live and study side by side. Together they learn to listen to varying perspectives and understand diverse points of view – while forming lifelong friendships along the way. But being an anti-racist, diverse, equitable and inclusive institution means a lot more than simply bringing together students from diverse backgrounds. We want all students, no matter their gender identity, race, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation or socio-economic background to feel equally valued, seen and heard.
