Digital Marketer – The Financial Planning Institute SA

The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa NPC (FPI), a SAQA recognized professional body, is seeking a Digital Marketer, to join the Team.

The primary objective of the Digital Marketer is: conceptualizing, planning, and executing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across various channels such as social media, email, search engines, and websites.

The successful candidate will report to the Digital Production Manager, and will have responsibility for the following duties and others as assigned:

TASK MANAGEMENT:

  • Areas of responsibility
  • Social Media management / community management.
  • Social Media advertising inclusive, but not limited, of Google AdWords, Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn.
  • Leads Generation on social media.
  • Content Creation & editing.
  • Publishing of content on relevant platforms / communities.
  • Artwork creation.
  • WordPress Content Uploads.

REQUIREMENTS OF ROLE:

  • Areas of responsibility
  • Video editing.
  • Photography.
  • Basic Graphic Design.
  • Live social media posting (for events).
  • AdWords.
  • Keep up to date with current digital trends.
  • Manage the contact database and assist with lead generation activities.
  • Design website banners and assist with web visuals.
  • Contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Assist with paid media, including liaising with digital advertising agencies / 3rd parties.

2. Administration and Reporting

  • General correspondence and administration completed accurately and timeously.
  • Email, inbox and data managed timeously and effectively.
  • Professional image maintained in all communication.
  • All reporting and feedback requirements met, and reports completed accurately and timeously, according to company requirements.
  • Adhere to departmental processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Supply statistics and information as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience working in working in a digital environment.
  • Proven experience in deploying integrated campaigns across digital assets.
  • Understanding of always on lead generation across B2B, B2C across organic and paid mediums.
  • Ability to analyse data from both paid and organic and reporting to improve campaign performance.
  • Social media management (front and back), design, content creation and platform moderation i.e. Community management.
  • WordPress.
  • Email Marketing Campaigns.
  • Google Analytics.
  • Adobe Photoshop.
  • Adobe Illustrator.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • MD356 (D365 Marketing and Sales Modules).

  • creative skills
  • existing and emerging social media platforms
  • strong planning and multi-tasking for Campaigns and Always On
  • strong creative skills for copy (short & long) form design, and videos

REMUNERATION:

(R 280 000,00 – R 450 000,00 p.a.)
