GoodMorning.com is seeking a fast-moving, systematic, detail-oriented Brand Manager to champion the vision, and lead the strategy for consumer brands. As a “total business owner”, the Brand Manager will uncover and use extensive market data to identify brand and product white space opportunities, then leverage high-performance cross-functional teamwork to bring these opportunities to life! Once established, the Brand Manager will amplify catalog growth to profitably take share from incumbents, position the brand as a market leader, and take full accountability for the brand’s success.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop insurgency-oriented brand strategy to disrupt stale industries with newer, better, digital-first competition.
  • Produce and present compelling business cases and compete for internal investment for your brand.
  • Create striking brand identities with our world-class Creative team.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (including Advertising, Product Engineering, Creative Services, E-Commerce, Communications, Supply Chain, and Customer Service) to bring ideas to market and create a multi-million dollar brand.
  • Own a Brand’s P/L, and be a highly visible business leader working within our Brand Management Function to drive company growth objectives.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify consumer and business insights, and use these insights to inform the direction for rapid growth of your brand.
  • Innovate, explore, and test new ideas in an environment where creativity and experimentation are encouraged.
  • Champion and manage a diverse portfolio of strategic projects and programs.
  • Shape a brand team capable of delivering extraordinary amounts of impactful work quickly.
  • Build a team culture rooted in questioning assumptions and identifying solutions to tomorrow’s problems.

This role reports to a Brand Director. As you expand your impact on the business, you can expect to advance in roles with increased accountability and authority.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in accounting, business, finance, science, engineering, or other related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant Brand, Category, or Product Management experience is preferable.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Track record of forward-thinking, strategic, and courageous leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated strengths in strategic and analytical thinking.
  • An exceptional ability to drive innovation and brand growth.
  • An agile mindset with a passion for problem-solving, enabling you to strategically tackle challenging situations in a complex and dynamic business environment.
  • Superior communication skills that will enable you to lead the thinking of decision makers, internal and external, to GoodMorning.com.
