Responsibilities
As wait staff at CharChoma, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service: Greeting guests, presenting menus, and taking orders promptly and accurately.
- Table Service: Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner. Ensuring guests’ needs are met throughout their meal.
- Knowledge of Menu: Understanding the menu, including specials, to answer questions and make recommendations.
- Order Management: Entering orders into the system and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery.
- Payment Processing: Handling payments, providing change, and processing credit/debit card transactions.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Keeping the dining area clean and tidy. Clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
- Team Collaboration: Working with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or certificate in food and beverage service/sale, management or hospitality related course.
- Previous experience as wait staff or in a customer service role is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Friendly and positive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
