Overview:
Our client, is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive the delivery of cutting-edge B2B software products for a major Big Tech customer. As the Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the company’s product strategy and execution, managing a cross-functional team, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects.
Location: UK Remote with monthly visits to Head Office in Birmingham
Salary: Up to £65k (Depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Broadband project.
- Operational Setup: Establish new operational processes, data acquisition models, and cross-department integration.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support ongoing delivery against SLA.
- Client Management: Maintain and manage client relationships, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Roadmap Ownership: Prioritise features and requests, considering feasibility, time, and budget constraints.
- Requirement Gathering: Elicit, document, and analyse requirements, creating detailed product specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work with developers and relevant teams to estimate work, design solutions, and meet milestones.
- Performance Reporting: Report on performance goals and take actionable steps to achieve them.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Certifications: Preferable certifications in product management, agile methodologies, and project management.
- Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of technology and proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, or data visualisation tools.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello), wire framing tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Sketch), and customer feedback tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Typeform).
- Market Insight: Ability to conduct market research and understand customer needs and market trends.
- Strategic Planning: Skills in strategic planning and business acumen to align product development with business goals.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and revenue models.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate vision, strategies, and requirements to stakeholders.
- Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for creating value for users.
- Organisational Skills: Effective time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
