Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Manager to join our team. This volunteer role is ideal for someone with a strong background in project management and a genuine interest in neurodiversity. As the Product Manager, you will guide and support the team, manage projects, and contribute to the strategic development of our community initiatives.
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: Part-time, Flexible Hours
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of volunteers to deliver key projects and initiatives.
• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of community-focused products and services.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the community.
• Engage with neurodivergent individuals to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into project development.
• Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing diverse teams and complex projects.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in and understanding of neurodiversity.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
Beneficial Experience:
• Previous involvement in neurodivergent communities or related initiatives.
• Experience in volunteer management.
• Knowledge of inclusive design and accessibility standards.
