WFM 91.7 MHz is a Nigerian gender sensitive and specialized radio station licensed by Nigerian Broadcasting Commission to broadcast programs for women and their family. It is the first female-oriented radio station in Sub-Saharan Africa.
We are recruiting to fill the position of a Radio Presenter.
Job Description
- The Radio Presenter is responsible for presenting, moderating, and delivering engaging live and recorded programmes, including news bulletins.
- This role requires a lively female with excellent communication skills, vibrant on-air and social media with the ability to connect and engage on all interactive platforms.
Duties
Presentation Duties:
- Anchors, interviews & moderates live and recorded programmes.
News Duties:
- Anchors news bulletin, News analysis and live reports from location of events
Essential Requirements
- Background in Broadcasting, Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies.
- Strong research, scriptwriting, and editing skills.
- Public speaking, Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Media literacy – well-versed in current events, social and entertainment news.
