Your role is to leverage our toolset to proactively monitor our client’s network devices, exceed promised Key Performance Indexes (KPI) and to ensure maximum user uptime. You will troubleshoot and repair printer and MFP devices at our client’s sites.
Responsibilities
- Physically move printer hardware when required – Single Function & Multi-Function devices (Print, Copy, Scan)
- Set-up, configure and install printer hardware
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair printer hardware
- Train end users on printer/MFP hardware
- Advanced software troubleshooting related to print
- Advanced knowledge of PC and printer networking
- Ready to travel throughout the country at short notice
- Ready to stay for a period longer than one week in the field (Accommodation, Per diem and TNT covered by the organization)
- Prepare and submit reports up to organizations standards
Desired Skills & Experience
- Certificate or diploma in electronics, electrical repair, reprographics or IT (Any related field)
- At least 2 years relevant work experience
- Experience in Print Devices/Multi-Function (preferable)
- CompTIA A+ (preferable)
- N+ for Networking (preferable)
- HP Certified Technician or any other branded certification
- Provide repair and service support in customer’s location
- Good communication, strong customer service skills
- Ability to work productively both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to thrive in fast paced, high pressured situations
- Strong technical skills in printer hardware, software, and networking
