Slayer Energy and the Slayerboss in particular are seeking a high-energy, charismatic Hype Person Slayerboss Announcer to join our team and become the voice that ignites the crowd, stokes the fires, screams with enthusiasm and fuels the excitement every time the Slayerboss enters a room wherever he goes (whether an internal meeting, a trip to the roadworthy department, a jaunt to the local grocery store, tea with his mom or a meeting with the board of directors)
Role Overview:
As our Hype Person Slayerboss Announcer, you will be the person preceding The Boss daily and announcing his magnificent presence. You need to be the maestro of the microphone, the wordiest of wordsmiths, the energy that is missing from Eskom and the spark that lights up every room that he is in. Your mission: to engage, excite, and entertain from the moment the Boss walks in to the room until his departure. You’ll be introducing him, hyping up the crowd, and ensuring every moment is filled with energy, anticipation, trepidation and slight anxiety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Electrify the Crowd: Use your charisma and stage presence to build excitement and create an unforgettable atmosphere. Using words like: The greatest, the most amazing, the best, the funniest, the most magnificent.
• Introducing the Boss: Announce him with flair, delivering his accolades and backstories with enthusiasm and accuracy from your personalized megaphone.
• Engage the Audience: Lead chants, interact with fans, and keep the energy levels high throughout his visit.
• Live Commentary: Provide spontaneous and entertaining commentary during meeting downtime to keep the audience engaged.
Requirements:
• Stage Presence: A natural entertainer with a larger-than-life personality.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Clear, powerful voice with the ability to command attention.
• Passion for Slayer and The Boss: Deep knowledge of his previous accolades and a genuine enthusiasm for speaking on a megaphone.
•. The ability to play the trumpet to properly announce the Boss at formal events like visits to the zoo and when stopped by Joburg Metro Police.
• Quick Thinker: Ability to improvise and keep the show flowing smoothly, even when unexpected situations arise.
• Crowd Engagement: Experience in public speaking, emceeing, or performing in front of large and particularly to minuscule small boring mundane audiences
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule. Also biceps big enough to permanently use the megaphone all day long.
