Overall Responsibility:
The HR Manager works closely with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that
align with the overall business goals. This involves workforce planning, talent management, succession
planning, and ensuring the organization has the right mix of skills and talents to meet future needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the recruitment process is a critical responsibility. This includes creating job descriptions, posting job ads, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates. The HR Manager ensures that the hiring process is efficient and effective, attracting top talent to the organization.
- The HR Manager oversees the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are integrated into the organization smoothly. This includes orientation programs, training sessions, and providing the necessary resources for new employees to perform their roles effectively.
- The HR Manager works with department heads to set performance standards, conduct evaluations, provide feedback, and develop improvement plans. This helps in enhancing employee performance and productivity.
- Maintaining positive employee relations is essential for a harmonious workplace. The HR Manager addresses employee concerns, resolves conflicts, and fosters a culture of open communication and mutual respect. This involves mediation, counseling, and implementing policies that promote a positive work environment.
- The HR Manager designs and manages competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain employees. This includes salary surveys, job evaluations, and benefits administration. Ensuring that the organization’s compensation packages are fair and equitable is a crucial part of this role.
- The HR Manager stays updated on employment laws, handles legal issues related to employment, and ensures that the organization adheres to all legal requirements, minimizing the risk of litigation.
- He/She conducts employee surveys, analyzes feedback, and creates programs to improve job satisfaction, loyalty, and reduce turnover rates.
- The HR Manager develops, implements, and maintains HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and align with the organization’s goals. This includes creating employee handbooks, policy manuals, and ensuring consistency in policy application across the organization.
- Promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace, this involves developing initiatives and policies that foster an inclusive work environment, ensuring equal opportunities for all employees, and supporting diverse hiring practices.
- The HR Manager collects and analyzes HR data, generates reports on key metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment effectiveness, and uses this information to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
- The HR Manager implements health and safety programs, conducts workplace inspections, addresses safety concerns, and ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Identifies training needs, develops training programs, and manages professional development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth. This includes organizing workshops, seminars, and continuous learning opportunities to support employees’ development.
- Supervising HR staff, providing mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Effective leadership ensures that the HR department operates efficiently and supports the organization’s strategic goals.

- Good understanding and technical abilities within all HR departmental areas including recruitment, employee relations, workforce administration, employee engagement, payroll, reward and recognition, welfare, learning and development and HR systems.
- A confident leader with experience in leading a team.

- The ability to accept and provide feedback, be challenged on your advice and work well under pressure.
- The ability to assert your opinion and ideas with confidence.
- The ability to understand HR statistical reports.
- Experience in monitoring and driving KPIs.
- The capacity to make quick but rational decisions. The ability to think innovatively and rationally about decisions and come up with creative solutions.
Educational Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a business-related subject.
- Fluent level of English, both spoken and written.
Relevant years of
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR role.
- Minimum 3 year’s experience in a management role.
