About the job
1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy, ensuring
alignment with the overall corporate objectives.
Identify and target new markets and customer segments to expand the
company’s client base.
Work closely with the executive team to set revenue targets and develop
strategies to achieve them.
2. Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and
competitive threats.
Analyze market data to develop insights and make informed business
decisions.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their
business needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
4. Lead Generation & Sales:
Oversee the lead generation process, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential
clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and
promotional materials.
Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
5. Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to team
members.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure the seamless
onboarding of new clients.
Collaborate with the product development team to tailor BPO solutions to
meet client needs.
7. Reporting & Performance Metrics:
Provide regular reports on business development activities, including sales
forecasts, revenue targets, and market analysis.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and
adjust as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
* Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline is highly
preferred.
* Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing,
with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the BPO industry.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development
strategies that have led to significant revenue growth.
* Experience in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating high-value contracts.
* Deep understanding of BPO industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive
landscape
* Certifications such as Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) or similar industry recognized certifications are preferred.
* Membership in professional bodies such as the International Association of
Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) is advantageous.
* Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and business
intelligence (BI) tools is required.
