Job Description
- The primary responsibility of eMedicStore Full Stack Developer will include designing user interactions on websites, developing servers and databases for website functionality and coding for different platforms.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, technical design and implementation of web applications. The candidate will work in all phases of the development cycle: concept to implementation and must be comfortable with both front and back end programming.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Joining a team of developers already working on projects for the company.
- Designing user interactions on web pages.
- Developing back end website applications.
- Fixing bugs and performance problems.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Perform full life-cycle development.
- Adhere to agreed upon delivery schedules/date.
- Fixing bugs and performance problems.
- Writing clean, readable, and testable code.
- Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
- Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.
- Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
- Utilizes source control, continuous integration, and unit testing best practices
- Work cross-functionally to define and write code for new features.
- Good organizational skills, know your limits, and how to work on a deadline.
Skills / Requirements
- Professional web development experience (2 years minimum)
- Experience with Git version control
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Working alongside the Digital Marketer and graphic designers for web design features.
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber.
- Proficiency with server side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net.
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
Person Specification
- Age : 21 – 32 Years
Work Experience:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 2 – 3 years of work experience.
