Our client is a leading Engineering and Procurement Sourcing company.
The company seeks a highly skilled and analytical business intelligence officer to join our dynamic team in Lagos. The successful candidate will manage our ERP system and extract valuable insights from the data to present to top management. This role is crucial for driving informed decision-making and enhancing organizational performance across various departments, including customer service, sales, procurement, project management, and finance.
Responsibilities
ERP Management and Optimization:
o – Oversee the administration and operation of the ERP system to ensure its
optimal performance.
o – Evaluate system performance regularly, implementing upgrades or
enhancements as needed to support business objectives.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
o – Extract and analyze data from the ERP system to track and evaluate the
performance of various organizational functions.
o – Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and regular reports that
provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
o – Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management to
aid in strategic planning and decision-making.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
o – Collaborate with department heads and managers to understand their data
needs and provide relevant information for their operations.
o – Serve as a liaison between technical teams and department leaders to ensure
the ERP system aligns with business requirements.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
o – Identify trends and analyze patterns in organizational data to pinpoint areas
for performance improvement.
o – Recommend process improvements and strategic changes based on thorough
analysis of operational data.
Team Leadership and Development:
o – Lead and develop a team of data analysts or ERP specialists to support data-
related initiatives.
o – Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making
within the team and across the organization.
Compliance and Best Practices:

o – Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy policies.
o – Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and
ERP management to continually enhance the organizational data strategy.
Academic Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer
Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
Proven experience (5+ years) in business intelligence, data analysis, or ERP
management.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, and BI tools like Tableau,
Power BI, or SAP Business Objects.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them
into actionable business insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
and presentation to senior management.
Strategic thinking ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
Leadership experience with a focus on team development and process improvement.
Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations.
Remuneration: Between N250k – N300k per Month, depending on experience and qualifications.
