Transformation College of Business and Technology is an online college that offers National Innovation Diploma Certificates on several courses to SSCE graduates, NYSC members, university graduates, and professionals in other fields of study who wish to diversify their skill sets and knowledge within Nigeria and beyond.

What we are looking for?

As our Academic Coordinator, you will be heavily focused on coordinating the academic affairs of our college to ensure a seamless flow of academic activities

What does the job involve?

1) Provide academic advising and guidance to students regarding course selection, degree requirements, academic policies, and academic progress.

2) Coordinate academic programs or initiatives within the institution, including scheduling classes, organizing events, and managing program logistics

3) Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness and success.

4) Develop and implement support services to enhance student success, such as tutoring programs, study skills workshops, and academic coaching.

5) Provide resources and referrals to support students facing academic challenges or personal difficulties.

6) Assist with the development and revision of academic curricula, including course content, learning objectives, and assessment methods.

7) Interpret and enforce academic policies and procedures, including registration deadlines, grading standards, and academic integrity policies.

8) Communicate policy changes and update students, faculty, and staff as needed.

9) Support faculty members in their roles as educators by providing resources, training, and assistance with instructional technology.

10) Facilitate communication between faculty and students regarding course expectations and academic support services.

11) Collect and analyze data related to student outcomes, program effectiveness, and student satisfaction. Use assessment results to make data-driven decisions and implement improvements to academic programs and services.

12) Stay current on trends and best practices in higher education, academic advising, and student support services through professional development activities, workshops, and conferences. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in relevant areas.

13) Serve on institutional committees or task forces related to academic affairs, student services, or program development.

Qualifications and skills

· Any University degree

· 5+ years of experience in academia (experience in school management is an added advantage)

· Good knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office especially with MS PowerPoint and excel.

· Adept at building and delivering presentations

· Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
